Description: This map presents medium to high resolution imagery for various locations around the world assembled from members of the ArcGIS user community. The map is meant to overlay and supplement other base imagery available through the World Imagery service which presents a seamless mosaic of 15m imagery for the world and 1-2m imagery for the United States. In many areas, the imagery presented in this map is more detailed or more current than the imagery assembled in the World Imagery seamless mosaic. The imagery presented in this map currently features high-resolution imagery for several areas including Portugal; British Channel Islands; State of Massachusetts; State of Pennsylvania; York County, South Carolina; San Bernardino County, California; San Diego County, California; Ventura County, California; and post Hurricane Ike imagery for the Galveston, Texas, area. Additional imagery will be added to this map on a regular basis as it is made available to ESRI through the ArcGIS Online Content Sharing Program (CSP) and processed.
