Service Description:

This service presents place labels for geographic features on Mars. The features labeled include mountains (mons), high plains (planum), low plains (planitia), mesas (mensa), volcanoes (tholus), and more. The service was published by ESRI using data produced in a collaborative effort by the Mars Global Surveyor MOLA and MOC teams for the National Geographic Society. The place labels are delivered as a vector annotation service.
